About Me

  I began studying classical violin as a child. As a teen, I studied for a year in Switzerland, returning to the US to attend Jacksonville University (a private school with a well-respected music program), winning a position as a full-time member of the Jacksonville Symphony. Arthur Fiedler, Beverly Sills, Van Cliburn, and Benny Goodman were a few of the featured performers while I was there. During my summer breaks, I began playing with a local bluegrass band.

  I moved from Jacksonville to Nashville after being hired for the TV series Strictly Bluegrass, and a job with a bluegrass band that traveled the US and Canada representing the Grand Old Opry. The producer/star of a Las Vegas show saw me play and hired me to join his cast.

    I did 3 shows in Las Vegas playing multiple instruments, being an MC, a dancer, and an actor. I was on the Merv Griffin show twice and was a featured performer on the Jerry Lewis Telethon. The third show, Tom Foolery, toured the western US for a year. 

  From Las Vegas, I moved to Orlando, playing music with 3 bands nightly at a nightclub complex called Church Street Station, which is where I met my husband, Bob. From there, we moved to Naples, FL, where we've lived and performed for 28 years.  

  Now I perform at hotels and country clubs in the Naples area, including the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Tiburon (Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort), the Bay Colony Beach Club (for 28 years), the Bay Colony Golf Club, Pelican Isle Yacht Club, Naples Sailing and Yacht Club, The Vineyards Country Club, West Bay Country Club, Pelican Marsh Country Club, Pelican Bay Country Club, Hole In The Wall Golf Club, Treviso Bay Country Club, Eagle Creek Golf Club, and Forest Glen Golf Club. My main work is as a strolling violinist for holidays, special events, and Italian nights; but I also work with a 5-piece dance band, and with my partner, Alan Bradford.

  I've also found great joy in playing music at retirement communities in Naples. I play for every level of care, from independent residents to those in memory care units, and residents confined to their rooms. It's a wonderful feeling when my music touches someone who is struggling through their day. Their smile is such a gift to me.  I've played at The Arlington, Moorings Park, The Villas, All Seasons, Discovery Villages, Aston Gardens, Terracina Grand, Arbor Trace, and Lely Palms. 

  I'm known for my vast repertoire and when I stroll, I'm regularly put to the test by audience members hoping to stump me. I play everything from Mozart and Bach to Billie Eilish and Ed Sheeran. I'm a walking jukebox and would love the chance to play whatever you'd like to hear!
